"Zounds!" Came the scream from behind the tree. Desmond approached the small wounded platypus and picked it up excitedly. It was bleeding from its tongue and crying uncontrollably. "What happened?" He asked. "I got shot by a flaming fjord," said the platypus. With a flick of his wrist and some special sparkly magic, Desmond used his extraordinary healing powers to bring the young creature back to full health. They became fast friends and still see each other every Boxing Day.
