Last week, the highly anticipated release of the Apophysis 2.06c 3D hack version finally arrived.  This marks one of the most significant changes to Apophysis since the introduction of the Julia (n) variation.

So, you were terribly excited about the project and downloaded it the moment you discovered its release, but...now what?  Below is a list containing all of the resources currently available.  So far there aren't too many, but at least it's a decent start.

I downloaded 3D Hack, told my antivirus to shut the heck up (put it in my safe files) and have been using it with no problems! I LOVE IT! Thanks!! :D

I've heard a lot about the 3D Hack version but I've yet to use it. I downloaded it from two different sites and both times my COMODO antivirus picked it up as a virus. arg. I'm waiting to see if they do something about it and list it as a false positive or not. I'd really love to use it!!! I'm just kind of hesitant about letting it into my system if my download sets off my virus alarm! :-(

When using the link above for sourceforge...It not longer has 2.06c 3D hack available. It now has 2.o8 3D experimental. Any ideas where I can find 2.06c 3D hack?? I really don't want an (experimental) version of ANYTHING. Thanks in advance for any help.

I switched from windows, so I can't use Apophysis anymore. I think that's a stupid oversight of whoever originally wrote Apo.
When is there going to be a mac osx version?

Here's my ultimate question:

Who is going to be the brave one to convert Apophysis to Mac.;_; I want to use apophysis when I make the switch off of Windows.

`cmptrwhz is doing a port, [link]

So far, I have survived by running Vista through Boot Camp.

I survive using xp with virtual pc. it rules, because you can run os x and windows at the same time. windows is in a window, or if you want to it mixes the programs (i.e. you can open apophysis as a window in osx.)

Indeed, although you're a bit behind the times. I assume you're using a non-intel mac, so you're forgiven. ;)

I have Apophysis 2.02 running on OSX Leopard on my Intel Mac inside Crossover Mac (a commercial version of WINE for OSX). I am still trying to figure out how to install the 2.07 beta inside the package that Crossover Mac creates to run the 2.02 version.

I will post something once I figure out how to do it.

That's basically what this does. My way is free, however, but obviously, it's not perfect.

I do use an intel mac. otherwise virtualisation wouldn't work neither.
and I think that having windows in a window is pretty comfortable :D

Virtual PC on an intel? Try Parallels.

Hehehe.... yeah. I used to use Parallels, but I've since switched to Boot Camp. Much faster.
